Messages and comments on our Instagram and Facebook accounts
When you comment on or message madeira.fun on Instagram (@madeirafunapp) or Facebook (the madeira.fun Page), we receive your name and username, your account ID for our page, your message or comment, and our replies. We use them to answer you, to send the guide you asked for, to show our team the conversation, and to keep our business partners out of automatic replies.
A text-generation service (Google Gemini) suggests replies: it receives the text of the conversation with your name and username removed, and a member of our team reviews each suggestion before it is sent. Our messaging provider (Bird) and our hosting (Supabase) process this data for us.
We delete our copy after 30 days; the conversation itself stays in Instagram or Messenger. We never sell this data or use it for advertising.
Delete your data
To have it deleted sooner, email privacy@madeira.fun with your Instagram username or Facebook name, or send us a message saying "delete my data". We delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply.
To delete a madeira.fun account, use madeira.fun/remove.
