Columbus Festival

Columbus festival recalls the Age of discoveries and attracts hundreds of visitors to Porto Santo. It begins with Columbus’ arrival on the island in the XV century recreating the atmosphere of that time. This festival entails drama scenes, acrobatics shows, juggling and constant animation in the streets of the village, following the dress code of the time. It is like travelling back in history!
