Fajã dos Padres is a small fajã on Madeira's south coast, below steep cliffs and reached only by cable car or by boat. At the bottom there are organic fruit plantations, a pebble beach, a restaurant serving local produce and seaside cottages for overnight stays. The cable car costs €12 return, free for children under 12 and cottage guests.
