VER 116 Vereda da Fajã Grande
VER 116 Vereda da Fajã Grande is a difficult vereda (footpath) trail near Calheta in south-west Madeira. The route is 1.4 km one way, from Miradouro do Fio, beside the former cable station / Casa de Chá O Fio to Fajã Grande rocky shoreline / bottom of the historic cable route. Allow about 40 min (50 min at an easy pace). No permit is needed. One of 59 paths and peaks in the Madeira Fun Route Registry.
